World Hope Day… One Message from the Children of the World

In a powerful global humanitarian scene that embodies the values of solidarity and humanity, the activities of “World Hope Day” were launched across several countries, with broad participation from children and representatives of human rights and humanitarian organizations. This initiative was led by the International Union for the Defense of Children’s Rights in cooperation with the International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs (IOHR).
This day was not just a passing event, but a global platform through which children expressed their voices, carrying one unified message to the world:
“We want peace, we want opportunities, we want to live with dignity and safety.”

🇮🇶 Erbil… Official Support and Wide Participation
In Erbil, the event was held with the presence of several official figures, including the High Commissioner for the Middle East and North Africa, the Deputy High Commissioner, and the Education Affairs Advisor, in addition to representatives from the government and the Ministry of Interior.
Local branches of the organization and the union also took part, alongside children who raised the message of hope, affirming their ability to achieve their dreams despite challenges.
The day delivered a clear message: investing in children is an investment in a brighter future.

🇪🇬 Egypt… Official Presence and a Message of Awareness
In the Arab Republic of Egypt, the event featured the حضور of prominent officials and experts, with interactive activities designed to raise awareness about children’s rights.
Participants included:
Counselor Adel El-Khayal – President of the Union in Egypt
Journalist Amal Magdy – Secretary-General
Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Hassouna – Vice President
Along with several committee heads, board members, and distinguished guests
Children actively engaged in creative activities, expressing their dreams of a safer world. The day concluded with an iftar gathering, bringing attendees together in a warm humanitarian atmosphere that reflected the spirit of solidarity and hope.

🇸🇾 Syria… Hope is Made Despite All Circumstances
📍 Latakia… Preparing for a Global Voice
In Latakia, preparations continued for the launch of the event as part of a global initiative taking place simultaneously in multiple countries.
Teams worked to create a supportive environment for children, enabling them to be part of this global message through cooperation and unity with “Partners of Hope.”
These preparations reflected a true belief that change begins with a step, and that hope is built through collective action.

📍 Aleppo… Hope is Reborn
In the city of Aleppo, children gathered to declare their message:
“We are hope… and our tomorrow carries joy and success.”
The event aimed to bring smiles to children’s faces and strengthen their spirit of optimism, despite the difficult circumstances the city has endured—proving that hope can be reborn even from hardship.

🇯🇴 Jordan… A Launch Carrying Children’s Voices
In Jordan, the event was attended by the Board of Directors of the International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs, where the atmosphere was filled with hope and engagement.
Children raised their messages to the world, expressing their aspirations for a life free from war and hardship, affirming that hope is a right for every child and that the future must be built on dignity and humanity.

🇸🇩 Sudan… Hope Despite Challenges
In Sudan, the event carried a deeply emotional tone, as children’s voices united to affirm that hope is still alive despite the hardships.
They raised messages calling for peace, emphasizing that the right to life and dignity must be guaranteed for all, and that their future deserves protection and support.

Despite geographical differences, the message was united across all countries:
