Appoints Artist Mohammed Majzoub as Youth Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa

In a step that reflects the union of art and humanitarian purpose, the International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs (IOHR) has announced the appointment of Arab artist Mohammed Majzoub as Youth Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa, following a decision issued by the High Commissioner for the Middle East and North Africa, Dr. Majid Al-Rukbi, after fulfilling all the required criteria for this humanitarian diplomatic position.
This initiative comes within the framework of the organization’s vision to empower youth and enhance their participation in humanitarian causes, based on its deep belief that art plays a pivotal role in spreading a culture of peace and driving positive change in societies.
Through this honorary title, artist Mohammed Majzoub will contribute to raising awareness about human rights issues, advocating for the protection and support of refugees and displaced persons under difficult circumstances, as well as encouraging initiatives aimed at integrating vulnerable groups into host communities and promoting the values of justice and equality.
Duties of the Youth Ambassador
As Youth Ambassador, Mohammed Majzoub will work to support and activate youth and humanitarian initiatives in cooperation with the organization, participate in regional and international events that amplify the voice of youth and strengthen their role in driving change, and take part in media and awareness campaigns organized by the IOHR within and beyond the Middle East and North Africa.

Artist Mohammed Majzoub expressed his pride in receiving this title, saying:
“It is a great honor to gain the trust of the International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs (IOHR) and to be entrusted with this important humanitarian role.
There is no doubt that art is a message, and the artist’s voice should be part of positive change in the world.
I will do my utmost to be a sincere voice for refugee and human rights causes, spreading hope and advocating for justice across the world.”
