Emergency Situation in Syria

With the ongoing conflict and war in Syria, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, reaching a catastrophic state. The humanitarian crisis has worsened since the outbreak of the uprising in 2011, with no prospects for security and peace.

Syrian refugees who have managed to escape the war continue to struggle to survive while lacking basic necessities such as clean water, food, and medicine. The aggression and violence against civilians and humanitarian workers persist, further exacerbating the situation.

Statistics from international agencies operating on the ground estimate the following:

Since its establishment in 2018, the organization has been committed to continuing support for civilians who have survived the war in Syria and protecting their lives and dignity. We serve the poor and vulnerable within Syria and refugees in neighboring countries such as Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and those who have sought refuge in camps within Syria. We are determined to continue these efforts and provide a lifeline for our brothers and sisters until this crisis comes to an end.

Stories of Suffering in Syria

Samiha, an elderly Syrian woman from Afrin, resides in a single room in a building provided by a benefactor specifically for her and her family, which includes two sons and a daughter, all of whom have mental disabilities

“We thank God for the benefactor who provided us with this room, but the room is not suitable for us, especially since my three children have special needs. We have no source of income and rely on the food provided by the benefactors

The three children require medical care and diapers, in addition to the fact that the mother is elderly and suffers from multiple health conditions. Taking care of her children is a significant burden for her, yet she does everything she can to ensure their well-being

“If no one knocks on our door with assistance one day, we will be left without food. I cannot leave my children alone, but thanks to God, He does not forget us in these tough times

The organization knocked on Samiha’s door, carrying food aid and other essential items for the family, including mattresses, blankets, and diapers for the disabled children. The items we brought will sustain the family for a while, but they will still need ongoing support

“I thank the organization and everyone who heard my voice and responded to the call. May God bless you, and please do not forget us
